This location offers a serene and aesthetically pleasing environment, ideal for relaxation by the water.
Fantastic cabin, my group and I had a great long weekend here. The house was immaculate and the host extremely responsive to anything we needed. Great location in the mountains around Harpers Ferry and only a few minutes away from Antietam Battlefield. I would absolutely book this cabin again for a nice peaceful getaway.
We enjoyed all the space and the rooftop deck. It was nice to walk to the store, restaurants, all over really. The beds were very comfortable! The basement room had a desk which was perfect as one of us needed to work a few days. There are no dressers (as pictured), we stayed a week and luckily I use packing cubes which helped organize my things. One closet has an organizer but it is something to be mindful of as you packing. It’s still a great location and met all our needs.
Great for quiet getaway
Great hosts, great spot to hang out with a family group for a few days. Lots of wildlife and birds, plenty of places to relax in small groups. Games galore. We are from Texas with family in Maryland, and this was a perfect getaway for everyone. A few minor notes: beds are comfy, pillows were a bit stiff. Otherwise great experience.
2nd time my group has stayed here, and its still awesome. Great location, plenty of room for everyone, clean and quiet! look forward to staying here again next year!
Beautiful old house and very clean! Amazing serene setting - we saw a fox running by each morning. Very convenient location for our purposes.
The Sanctuary was the perfect little weekend getaway from city life for my wife, two dogs, and myself. The dogs loooved the space and spent most of their time frolicking around the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the serene ambiance and the opportunity to relax. The amenities made our stay feel like a true retreat. We would definitely book again.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Came here as a travel nurse so stayed for 3 months at this time and the host have been super responsive and easy to talk to
We were in town for a graduation and needed a house with 4 bedrooms in a central, walkable area. The location is the best part of this house, as the water and Fell’s Point were very close. There were several restaurants very close by, and the neighborhood felt safe. Parking was an issue on occasion, so consider using an Uber to get around if you are coming in later in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Please be aware that one bedroom was in the basement. The other bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. There isn’t a central gathering place in the house with seating for more than 4 people. If you are looking for a comfortable place in a good location to serve as a home base for visiting the city, this home is a great choice.
